Privacy & cookies
Bigmovesinsilence.com · Updated October 30, 2026This page explains the data used to run the button game, its optional public high-score board, and Google advertising. Reading this page does not require accepting advertising cookies. This page contains no advertising or consent-message scripts.
Your game session
The current click count, slow-mode click count, and story position are held in memory in the game page. They reset when that page reloads. We do not save progress in local storage. A cheating-lock flag is stored in the browser’s session storage so a disconnected tab remains disconnected across refreshes. Closing the tab normally ends that storage session; browser restore features may preserve it.
Visitor counter
The retro visitor counter counts browsers from October 30, 2026 onward. We set a first-party cookie named __Host-bmis-visitor containing a random identifier, lasting one year, and store that identifier to avoid counting repeat visits again. This counter does not store your IP address or link the identifier to payments or scores. Different browsers or devices, clearing cookies, or blocking cookies can cause repeat counting. It is an approximate visitor count, not a count of individual people.
Public high scores
When the game opens, its score service creates a random run identifier and records a start time. The identifier is kept in page memory. The service also records whether a run was disconnected for rapid clicking and the time of its last score submission, to support score checks and rate limits.
Posting a high score is optional. If you choose to submit, we store your chosen display name, quote, click count, slow-mode click count when available, submission time, and run identifier. The highest entries are shown publicly to other visitors. Entries remain in the score database even if they are outside the visible top ten. Reloading the game or resetting your count does not delete a score you already posted.
Use a nickname. Do not put your real name, contact details, or other private information in the name or quote. Public submissions are checked against a text filter, which may reject wording but cannot detect every inappropriate entry. Do not submit hate, sexual content, threats, or private information. Use an entry’s report button to flag inappropriate content. A report stores the reported entry’s run identifier and report time and hides that entry from the public board pending review. Reports do not delete the underlying record. The reporting run’s last-submission time is updated for rate limiting.
Google advertising
This game includes Google AdSense code. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies and other technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google’s advertising cookies enable it and its partners to serve ads based on visits to this site and other sites on the Internet.
Advertising services may collect or use information such as IP addresses, browser and device information, cookie identifiers, and ad interactions for ad delivery, measurement, personalization where permitted, security, and fraud prevention. Advertising code may contact Google even when no visible ad appears.

Your choices
You can play without posting a public score. You can control cookies and site storage through your browser settings, although blocking storage can affect the tab’s cheating lock. Advertising-consent messages and choices, where applicable, are separate from the game. Where offered, use Google’s “Privacy and cookie settings” or “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link on the game page to revisit your choices. Opting out of personalized advertising does not necessarily remove all ads or all uses of data for ad delivery and security.
Hosting and security
The site is hosted using ChatGPT Sites and Cloudflare infrastructure. Hosting and advertising providers may process technical information, including IP addresses and request metadata, to deliver and secure the service under their own policies. We do not ask players to create an account or provide an email address or payment details to play or post a score.
The Cash App tip link opens cash.app in a separate tab and sends you to $Bigmovesinsilence. Payments take place on Cash App under its own privacy policy. This site does not receive payment confirmations, amounts, or payer details from that link. Square checkout handles card and payment details on Square’s secure site. For a tracked Square tip, we store the chosen amount, optional nickname and quote, checkout/order and payment identifiers, payment status, refund total, timestamps, and a random checkout run identifier. Only payments verified with Square appear in totals and rankings; refunds reduce their amount. Amounts, chosen nicknames and quotes are public after payment confirmation. The site owner may hide a nickname and quote afterward; its entry then appears anonymous while its amount remains in the rankings. Card details are not stored here. Cash App tips are not included in automatic rankings. The donation form keeps a draft and the active checkout identifier in browser session storage so the same checkout can be resumed after a refresh. Names and messages are saved on this site before opening Square and linked to the checkout order; the owner can correct them afterward.
Changes
We will update this page when the site’s data use changes, including when payment verification or additional advertising features are connected.
